AT CHRISTIAN RESTORATION CHURCH, IT'S OUR MISSION
TO BE RECOGNIZED AS A PLACE WHERE LIVES ARE TRANSFORMED AND WHERE PEOPLE WILL MOVE IN ABSOLUTE VICTORY, TO BE EQUIPPED AND EMPOWERED TO DO THE WORK OF THE MINISTRY.
WELCOME TO C.R.C
Prophet Godwin Larbitey Kwofie was called to ministry 15 years ago, after many years of running. He accepted the call at the age of 45 and served at the ministerial staff of many churches in the New England region. He helped open many churches in Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey and Rhode Island. In 2012 Prophet Godwin Kwofie opened the doors to a place of Restoration for the community of Worcester. Christian Restoration Church opened its doors in August of 2012 and South shore Avon division was opened in 2014. Prophet Godwin Kwofie has gone through spiritual healing and now again is growing in membership by bringing more souls to Christ by preaching the word in a truthful and understanding manner. Though Prophet Godwin Kwofie is known by many in Worcester, not all know him well. Prophet Godwin Kwofie is a kind and generous man of God, God has truly blessed him and endowed upon him the gift to change lives around him. He invites people of all origins and nationalities to worship and come to Christ. His greatest joy is seeing people come to God sincerely. The restoration and Christian life of his members makes his fellowship move to greater heights. “Come Join Our Family of Christ @ CRC”
While church members have a right to have high expectations due to their participation in the congregation, the congregation as a whole also has high expectations of its members. Remember, church membership is like being adopted into an extended family, while we expect to receive many blessings from being a part of our extended family. We also recognize that being a “family member “carries responsibilities as well. Church membership is like a lot of things in life. We get out of it what we put into it.
EXPECTATIONS OF CHURCH MEMBERS
Regular Involvement - Church members are expected to worship with the congregation regularly. In addition, members are expected to be involved in congregational Bible classes every Wednesday night. The blessings of congregational life depend upon regular involvement in the worship, Bible study, and fellowship of the church. (Heb.10:25)
Building Christian Relationships - Church members are expected to build and maintain healthy interpersonal relationships with fellow church members. While no one can be “best friends” with everyone, church members are expected to build healthy relationships with other Christians within the congregation.
Christian Ministry-Each church member is expected to use their spiritual gifts to serve in the body of Christ. Church membership involves more than “warming a pew” on Sunday! Christian ministry involves serving each other on a personal level, working in the congregation's ministries and involvement in the community. The church exists “to prepare God's people for works of service” (Eph. 4:12).
Financial Support-Our congregation is financed by its members, through Tithes and Offerings. A free-will offering is taken each Sunday morning; the Bible teaches us that we each give a tenth of our funds in proportion to our income.
A Christian Lifestyle –We expect that church members live under the Lordship of Christ as dedicated disciples. This involves following a Christian Lifestyle concurrent with Biblical values, (Mathew 6:33) and to work with assigned men in position of responsibility.
